ABRACAMPO
Producer Association • Professional Standards
Founded during the first Brazilian Congress of National Flower Essences in Rio de Janeiro in 2003, ABRACAMPO (Associação Brasileira de Pesquisadores de Essências de Campos de Consciência) brings together creators, researchers, and producers of flower and other vibrational essences. The association promotes research and self-regulation, develops ethical and technical standards for essence production, and works to support quality and consumer protection. Its initiatives have included developing standards and good manufacturing practices in dialogue with Brazilian health authorities.

Asociación Gremial de Terapeutas Florales de Chile (AGTF)
Professional Practitioner Association
Founded in 1994, the AGTF was the first professional association of flower essence practitioners established in Chile. The association represents practitioners before public and private institutions, maintains a national practitioner register, supports accreditation and continuing education, and organizes educational and community initiatives to promote the development of flower essence therapy in Chile.

Association for Flower Essence Therapy (AFET)

Founded in 2009, the Association for Flower Essence Therapy (AFET) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of flower essence therapy in Japan. Its activities encompass research and study groups, education, practitioner development, publications, and community events. Plant observation plays a particularly important role in their approach, which seeks to foster a deeper understanding of the relationship among people, plants, and the natural world through flower essences.

Bach Centre

Located in the village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell at Mount Vernon, where Dr. Edward Bach worked during the final years of his life and where his successors continued his work after his death in 1936, the Bach Centre has long been associated with preserving and transmitting Bach’s approach to the flower essences. Today, the Centre offers educational programs and practitioner training, maintains the Bach Foundation International Register of practitioners, and serves as steward of Mount Vernon, preserving its collections and history and welcoming visitors interested in Bach’s life and work.

British Association of Flower Essence Producers (BAFEP)
Producer Association
Established in 2000 to represent the particular interests of essence makers and producers, BAFEP develops and maintains standards for essence production, labeling, and advertising and represents the essence community in discussions with regulatory bodies. Originally established for British producers, the association now has members internationally and maintains an extensive directory and searchable database of essence producers and their essences.

British Flower and Vibrational Essences Association (BFVEA)
Professional Practitioner Association
The BFVEA grew out of the first International Flower Essence Conference, held at Findhorn in Scotland in 1997, where participants identified the need for a professional body representing essence practitioners in the UK. Formally established the following year, the BFVEA promotes professional standards and education, accredits practitioner courses, maintains a practitioner register, supports research, publishes Essence magazine, and holds an annual gathering.

CONAFLOR
Professional Standards & Regulatory Organization
Founded in 2010 by representatives of regional flower essence associations from across Brazil, CONAFLOR (Conselho Nacional de Autorregulamentação da Terapia Floral) provides a national framework for the self-regulation and professional representation of flower essence therapy. The Council establishes shared standards for practitioner education, ethics, and professional practice, coordinates the work of its affiliated regional associations, and represents the profession in dialogue with government and regulatory bodies. It has also played a central role in efforts toward formal recognition of flower essence therapy as a profession in Brazil.

Confederation of Registered Essence Practitioners (COREP)
Professional Standards & Regulatory Organization
Established jointly by the BFVEA and the Bach Centre, COREP provides a common professional framework for registered essence practitioners in the United Kingdom while allowing its member organizations to retain their individual approaches and standards. It establishes shared requirements for practitioner education, ethics, professional conduct, and continuing professional development, and serves as the UK lead body for essence practitioners regulated through the General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies (GRCCT).

FLOBANA

Founded in 2005, FLOBANA (Asociación Navarra para el Estudio y Difusión de las Esencias Florales) is a nonprofit association devoted to the study and dissemination of Bach flower therapy and other flower essence systems. Open to practitioners and anyone interested in essences, it works toward the social recognition of flower essence therapy as a profession, coordinates a comprehensive practitioner training program with its own accreditation standards, publishes articles and newsletters, and collaborates with SEDIBAC on the Spanish flower therapy congress.

Flower Essence Society (FES)

Founded by Richard Katz in 1979 and co-directed with Patricia Kaminski since 1980, the Flower Essence Society has played an important role in the development of flower essence therapy through their research, publications, practitioner education, international journal, and support of humanitarian initiatives around the world. Their seminal work has helped to broaden and deepen our contemporary understanding of flower essences. Katz and Kaminski also direct Flower Essence Services, which offers an extensive range of North American flower essences created through their research.

Registro Italiano Floriterapeuti (RIF)
Professional Practitioner Association
Founded in 2000, the Registro Italiano Floriterapeuti represents flower essence practitioners in Italy and works to establish and uphold professional standards for the field. The RIF maintains a national practitioner register; sets requirements for education, ethics, and continuing professional development; and advocates for recognition of flower essence therapy as a distinct professional practice. It also organizes monthly educational events and an annual national conference, now held for more than two decades, bringing together Italian and international practitioners and teachers.

SEDIBAC

Founded in Barcelona in 1993 by Carlos Cruz, Ricardo Orozco, and Albert Romeu, SEDIBAC (Sociedad para el Estudio y la Difusión de la Terapia del Dr. Bach de Cataluña) is a nonprofit association devoted to the study and dissemination of Bach flower therapy. Open to practitioners and non-practitioners alike, it supports research, education, professional development, and exchange through its quarterly journal, lectures and other educational activities, and a biennial congress. Since 1996, its longstanding volunteer program has also brought flower essence therapy into nonprofit and community organizations serving vulnerable populations.

Twelve Healers Trust

Established in 1994, the Twelve Healers Trust is a UK registered charity born from the vision of Bach scholar and HealingHerbs founder Julian Barnard, who long served as its chair. Created to further education and research into the Bach flower essences, the Trust has supported projects in the UK and internationally, including research initiatives and programs promoting greater understanding and use of the essences.
